Moving to Substack!

Hello friends! This blog has gone a bit quiet in the last few years, and while I do appreciate everyone who’s followed my writing & journeys here, it hasn’t felt like a fitting context to be sharing writing in.

Instead, that context seems to be Substack these days – so if you’d like to join me for some tea talk again, that’s where it’ll be for the foreseeable future. My focus there is a little more honed in on tea industry and education: I’m writing about the intersection of farming, heritage, tourism, and education, specifically as these things manifest in specialty tea.

I’ve enabled optional payments, though for the moment all content will be freely available. In the future, when I have the time and capacity outside of the rest of my work, I may consider expanding content for paying subscribers. But for the moment, I’m leaving everything open, because there is still so little good free tea writing out there. I don’t want finances to be a blocker for anyone accessing tea education, as it’s been for me sometimes in the past. But for anyone in a good financial position to do so, I very much appreciate the support of paid subscriptions.
